GymMaverick is professional fitness instructors online directory. It connects users with personal trainers, so they can achieve their fitness goals and accomplish lifestyle challenges.
The challenge
We needed to design an online fitness instructors directory and make sure that users can schedule their training with fitness instructor online. One of the biggest challenge was to create an advanced booking system. Some of the client’s requirements were to create automated scheduler for fitness instructors, to create a booking calendar and to collect fees on each booking transaction.
Lastly, we had to ensure that the platform, we've implemented would translate well across all devices with Responsive Design to maintain the same great user experience for everyone.
The Solution
The solution is an online application system that comprises four main components: a powerful CMS-driven admin area, a back-end fitness instructors, a back-end users, and a promo website that showcases the system and allows users or fitness instructors to easily sign up or log in.
The application runs on top of Store4 and enables administrators to effortlessly configure all aspects of the web platform, including system settings, users, payments, subscriptions, themes and styles, and more. For payments, we decided to choose and to integrate Stripe. With Stripe's managed accounts, users are able to change their bank account information and modify any other information. We also made possible for users to make payments directly to fitness instructors.
Fitness instructors can with ease register on the system. Once approved, they are able to manage their data, create events, check the scheduler, communicate with other members on the portal and much more.
On the other hand portal user can connect with ease with a professional trainer and use the streamlined booking system to schedule a one-on-one training session.
Conclusion
We have designed a unique mobile-first application online fitness instructors directory that is fueled by the simple-to-use yet powerful content management system Store4.
